Last year at Fall for Glacier, I was visiting with some folks in the lobby of the Glacier Lodge in East Glacier. Upon recognizing my voice from my blogs, a couple of guys came up to me to say hello, tell me they read my blog and hopefully get some advice about their hiking trip the next day.
The next morning, Tim Young and John Gendron headed out for the fantastic Dawson-Pitamakan Loop and had a great day. After they returned back to Oregon, John put some of his photos together in a fun book. I’m always stoked to see others photos and know that they had a great time. Way to be flexible by not getting your backcountry trip and getting after it!
You can read John’s book online here. (Note the frolicking moose on page 8. Seriously, moose frolic)
