Quillayute River Slough

Quillayute River Slough – 1.4mi / 2.3km

This easy trail wanders through the lush rain forest with a few looks down at the slough along the Quillayute River. Step into a wonderful world of green with huge trees, moss, and tall vegetation.

The trail gets near the edge of the bluff at points, giving you peeks down at the dense forest and small pockets of the slough. Stay right at the trail junction to work your way down to the edge of the slough (a left takes you through more rain forest to the road). Check out the narrow vantage of the river before heading back.

Trailhead: Turn west onto Hwy 110/La Push Road from Hwy 101, 1.5 miles north of Forks. After 7.8 miles, turn right onto Mora Road. Turn into the ranger station at 3.2 miles. The trail begins at the east end of the parking lot.

Elevation Gain: 30ft / 9m – Elevation Loss: 30ft / 9m
