Rainshadow Loop

Rainshadow Loop – 0.5mi / 0.8km

Experience views from the top of Blue Mountain on this scenic, interpretive trail in the northeastern corner of the park. Grab an interpretive pamphlet and start the trail counterclockwise. It winds its way up along the western edge of Blue Mountain on an old road.

After climbing 100ft/30m, it summits Blue Mountain with its sprawling vantages before heading down through the trees and above steep drop-offs back to the trailhead.

Trailhead: Head south on Deer Park Road (located 5 miles east of Port Angeles) 18 miles to the campground. The trail begins at the end of the road.
