Bridalveil Fall

Bridalveil Fall – 0.5mi / 0.8km

This very popular hike takes a short, easy path to the base of a beautiful waterfall. The paved path travels through a mixed forest of oak and cedar to the spur trail that leads to the base of the falls. In the spring, the mist can overwhelm the end of the path, but later in the year, it turns into a tall, delicate veil of water. Beyond the spur trail, the paved path continues over Bridalveil Creek, then switches to a dirt path to an alternate trailhead.

Trailhead: The signed parking is located off Wawona Road at the west end of Yosemite Valley just before it merges with Southside Drive. Parking for the alternate trailhead is located along Southside Drive just east of the junction with Wawona Road.

Elevation Gain: 50ft / 15m – Elevation Loss: 50ft / 15m
