Yosemite Creek

Yosemite Creek – 3.8mi / 6.1km

Enjoy a nice walk through the forest along the playful Yosemite Creek. From the south parking lot of the Yosemite Creek trailhead, the trail descends through the forest with pocket views looking across the canyon. Initially the trail is high above the creek, but gradually drops down to a creek ford.

From the ford to the campground, the trail parallels the lovely, chattering creek. Continue on the road to the bridge to see more of the creek before turning around. Do the hike in reverse if staying in the campground.

Trailhead: Look for the small, signed parking lot for Yosemite Creek/Ten Lakes along the Tioga Road. The trail begins at the west end of the parking lot on the south side of the road. If starting from the campground, the trail begins at the far, north end.

Elevation Gain: 350ft / 105m – Elevation Loss: 350ft / 105m
