Off to Olympic National Park

Well another summer season and another national park. This year, the park I’ll be hiking all over is Olympic National Park. It’s looking like I have about 45 days of exploring this amazing park located in the northwest corner of Washington… and well, the entire United States!

This park features the Pacific Ocean with beaches and tidepools, dense moss covered old-growth forests, and sprawling alpine landscapes. I’m super excited!

I’m out there working on my next day hiking map. I just finished my Day Hikes of Yosemite National Park, so make sure you check that map out if you’re heading to the Sierras.

Blog frequency will plummet over the summer as I’m away from my computer and breathing mountain air. Check me out on my social media channels for photos and fun updates (Facebook, Instagram, and a little Twitter). Also head over to my Track Page to see where I’m currently hiking and where I’ve been with my InReach device.
