Hi adventure seeker! Can you believe it’s February already?! I hope January was a wonderful start to the new year for you. Here in northwest Montana the weather has been remarkably cold, but I’ve been able to enjoy some winter hiking and cross-country skiing with family and friends. I’ll be honest though, I’m looking forward to warmer days and dirt trails under my hiking boots! I hope you’ve found the hiking fitness blog to be inspiring and helpful as you prepare for the hiking season. As a certified personal trainer and fitness coach with decades of hiking experience, I’ve enjoyed being able to encourage, connect, and share with you. I’m passionate about helping people like you train for active lifestyles, move and feel better, and learn how to reduce nagging pain and minimize the risk of injury. Keep checking the blog as I continue to add to the series. Also, feel free to email me or comment on the blog with questions or topics that you’d like me to discuss or you think the hiking community would appreciate. Today I’m excited to share with you a project that I’ve been working on this past year. I’m launching HIKE-ABILITY, which is a 12-week training program specific to hiking fitness and preparing for the trail. The program will help you achieve your full hiking potential and the ability to move and feel better (on and off the trail) at any age. If you’re looking for a structured (yet fully-customizable) training schedule coupled with comprehensive, weekly lessons on how to acquire and maintain a resilient body that's ready for adventure, then you should definitely check it out! As a thank you for your readership and to reward your commitment to your personal health/fitness I’d like to offer you an introductory discount on the HIKE-ABILITY program. But don’t wait, this offer is only good for a limited time, and the best time to start training is NOW! Use the coupon code hike2023 for $25 off your purchase of the program. Adventure awaits, be ready for it! Kristen
