How exciting!
You’ve chosen your vacation destination, perhaps your Hike 734 day hike map guide arrived in the mail, you’re planning your trip itinerary and booking tickets and reservations. When all of a sudden it hits you… A deflated feeling in the pit of your stomach.
That moment when EXCITEMENT turns to PANIC and you realize… “OMG I gotta get in shape for hiking!” Your vacation countdown now also marks a looming fitness deadline. Don’t despair… I’m starting a special, 5-part email mini-series that you won't want to miss. I'll be discussing common hiking fitness mistakes— and WHAT to do instead. You'll learn exactly what you need to focus on so you can achieve your hiking goals. Regardless of your hiking experience or fitness level, my mission is to provide YOU with valuable tools and guidance so that you are (and continue to stay) on the right track towards your hiking goals. Perhaps I’ll bring awareness and insight to a "mistake" you didn’t even realize you were making. Or, let's be honest, sometimes we (myself included) just need a little friendly nudge or helping hand to get going or get back at it… Each week during this special email series I'll give you an "action step" to keep you on track, inspired and motivated, and successfully reaching your goal(s). This week’s action step is super easy and fun! YOUR Action Steps: Continue to excitedly plan and prepare for your hiking adventures. Read maps/guidebooks/websites (see below for helpful resources), select and research your “must do” hikes, and day-dream about being on the trail (I recommend doing this at least once, but probably no more than 3 times a day😉 ).
