Aster Park offers a big, bird’s eye view of Two Medicine Lake from the south. Starting out in the trees, you will soon pass several meadows and a pond. Once you have taken the cutoff to Aster Park Overlook in approximately 0.3 miles, you will meet up with the beautiful Aster Falls as Aster Creek tumbles towards Two Medicine Lake.
From there, the trail gains all of its elevation as it weaves its way through the forest, ending at a rock bench with panoramic views of Sinopah Mountain, Rising Wolf Mountain, and Appistoki Peak – surrounding Two Medicine Lake.
Trailhead: The trail begins at the boat landing along the southern shore of the lake.
