Sprague Lake Nature Trail

Sprague Lake Nature Trail – 0.8mi / 1.2km

This level, accessible loop around Sprague Lake is great for the whole family and has numerous benches to enjoy the views.

The trail crosses over Boulder Brook to access the loop. Head in either direction around the lake. A few sections feature a boardwalk that passes over marshy areas of the lake. Views include forested hillsides and the rocky mountains to the east. Fishing is popular here and the multiple habitat types bring a variety of birds and the occasional moose.

Trailhead: Follow Bear Lake Road and turn onto Sprague Lake Road to the picnic area, or park at the Park & Ride and take the park’s free shuttle to the trailhead.
