McGurk Meadow

McGurk Meadow – 1.4mi / 2.2km

The meadows surrounding the old McGurk cabin pop with flowers in spring until early summer. The trail gradually drops down through the forest until you reach the cabin and the trail levels off.

You enter the meadow where a small bridge takes you over a stream. The trail continues along this long, flower-filled meadow. For a longer day, continue on the trail to the incredible views at Dewey Point and Stanford Point (see Dewey Point and Stanford Point).

Trailhead: The trail starts at the signed McGurk Meadow trailhead on the Glacier Point Road. Parking is along the road to the east.

Elevation Gain: 250ft / 75m – Elevation Loss: 250ft / 75m
