Moments in Time Nature Trail

Moments in Time Nature Trail – 0.7mi / 1.1km

This gem of an interpretive trail features a great mix of big trees and lake views. The trail begins near the Lake Crescent Lodge.

Stay right to join up with the loop trail as it follows alongside Lake Crescent with views across to Pyramid Mountain. Doing the loop clockwise follows the shoreline to a bench at Barnes Point with an easily accessed pebble shoreline. The trail wraps around through the forest full of large evergreens, mossy maples, and interpretive signs.

To complete the loop, stay right past the spur trails to Nature Bridge and the visitor center.

Trailhead: Look for the turnoff for the Storm King Ranger Station and the Lake Crescent Lodge along Crescent Lake off Hwy 101. Follow the signs towards the lodge then follow the signs for the signed trailhead parking area.
