Zion National Park Announcement

That I would start blogging about Zion National Park will come as no surprise to those of you that are subscribed to my mailing list, “Like” me on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter or Instagram. (If you aren’t, you should subscribe on the right, “Like”, and follow.)

In May of 2014, Kristen and I headed south for our anniversary to Zion National Park with a stop at Bryce Canyon National Park as well. I had just released my Day Hikes of Glacier National Park Map Guide and folks were really liking it. I thought, “If this goes really well, maybe we can do one for Zion as well.” It really seemed to resonate with people and so now we’re going to give it a whirl down there!

We went back in September to do some more hiking for the guide and for fun. These last few months I’ve been working on putting together the guide. I’m now in the last phase of it to put on the final touches and send it to the printer. In the meantime, I’m going to start blogging about the trails to get you excited about hiking in Zion. I’ll also sprinkle in other blogs about Glacier in the winter.

So check back at least weekly for more national park goodness and keep fit so when trail season hits, you can get hiking!
