Alpine Ridge Trail

Alpine Ridge Trail – 0.6mi / 1km

This interpretive, paved path gives you a sprawling vantage of the alpine areas around the Alpine Visitor Center. The trail begins climbing right away from Fall River Pass, taking your breath away in the thin air. Small signs identify the low growing plants in the area while larger signs describe the natural history and identify distant summits. Views abound all the way up. At the top of the knoll, enjoy fantastic 360 degree panoramas.

Trailhead: Take the Trail Ridge Road to the Alpine Visitor Center. The trail begins at the east end of the parking lot.
