Bear Lake Loop

Bear Lake Loop – 0.7mi / 1.1km

The blocky shape of Hallett Peak reflects in the gorgeous waters of the forested, accessible Bear Lake.

Cross over the bridge and take a right to Bear Lake. Taking the loop counter-clockwise, you reach the east shore with majestic views of the lake backdropped by the towering Hallett Peak. The west side of the lake traverses below granite cliffs. Streams trickle in providing riparian habitat for small birds.

Stop at one of the many benches along the way while enjoying this small, wooded lake.

Trailhead: Follow Bear Lake Road to the Bear Lake Trailhead, or park at the Park & Ride and take the park’s free shuttle to the trailhead.
