Bluebird day on Camas Road

Mountain Bluebird

Got the word a little bit ago that the Camas Road was open to driving and went up with my buddy TJ Fallon*. Camas Road is a nice little paved road that shows off the Lewiston Range up the North Fork of Glacier National Park. The weather was dodgy, as it always is in Spring. We were hoping to see a Spring bear or two, but we ended up with some waterfowl, some deer and this Mountain Bluebird.

Here’s to more bluebird days. Is it hiking season yet?

*TJ is working on a super sweet project that I’ll tell you about in a future blog.

Common Merganser

Here’s a Common Merganser that was chilling out with his lady-friend on Lake McDonald.
