Alberta Falls

Alberta Falls – 1.7mi / 2.7km

A short walk through the forests of aspen and evergreen takes you to a fantastic 25ft/8m waterfall. The trail follows up Tyndall Creek before crossing over it as it cascades below you. Take a left at the junction (right heads to Bear Lake).

The pine and fir forest gives way to beautiful stands of aspens among boulders as you traverse to Glacier Creek. Follow this lively creek as it cascades over rocks and through canyons. Alberta Falls comes into view where the creek slides through rocks, then drops.

Turn around here or consider continuing on to Mills Lake or The Loch (see Mills Lake or The Loch for descriptions).

Trailhead: Follow Bear Lake Road to the Glacier Gorge Trailhead, or park at the Park & Ride and take the parkโ€™s free shuttle to the trailhead.

Elevation Gain: 250ft / 75m – Elevation Loss: 250ft / 75m
