Cutbank Boundary Trails

by
There are a few trails that exist and are maintained, but you you won’t find them on current hiking maps. Two of those are the Mad Wolf Boundary Trail and the Cutbank Boundary Trail. These trails used to form the boundary trail that ran the entire length of the East Side of Glacier National Park, but are now just a few remaining fragments.
I don’t expect many people to use either of these trails except for those that want to climb Mad Wolf Mountain or bushwhack off of the trail to find the location of the old Cutbank Chalets. The views at the end of the trail are fantastic alpine meadows looking up the Cutbank Creek drainage and out to the plains. The Cutbank Boundary Trail that starts right behind the ranger station would really only be something that would be used for administrative purposes or for others trying to hike every trail in the Park (if you catch my drift). 😉

More nice bird photos- maybe you should make a “Birds Of Glacier” video to sell in the gift shops?

Hey there Jake, got some questions about the 734 miles in the park. Are these 2 and the horse trails in the park part of that count. My friends and I are trying to complete those
