Nice Bro. Boy you’ve hikes a long way since Trailhead 2001 🙂
-
Heck yes! I’m a little more “on it” than when we did Sperry with Karen. I also know a wee bit more about the place. 😉

Yeah buddy! Remember our trip to Sperry? I’ve looked back at those photos and shook my head. Noobs.

LOL! Crazy how time flies. Sperry was hairy. Next time we visit the Flathead in the summertime we will use your handy dandy map to do some hikes. It is great to see you doing what you are passionate about. Keep up the good work brother. If you are ever near Charlotte, NC let me know, you can stay with us.

I love that I ran across your blog! I moved to MT less than 2 years ago and I love it, especially Glacier Park. My mom is coming to visit in early July and I plan on taking her on a couple day hikes at the park. Any suggestions of some amateur hikes with lots of wildlife and waterfalls? I think she’d like that. I’d love to take her some place I haven’t been so we can experience it together. If you think of anything special I’d love to hear about where they are located, and when I say amateur I mean it. (or she might throw me off a cliff haha)

A couple off the top of my head would be St. Mary/Virginia Falls, Rockwell Falls and Grinnell Lake (with a little side trip to Hidden Falls. This is why I put together my day hikes guide. It has “family friendly” hikes that I think will really help you along!

Jake, I used your guide this week and had a fantastic time. Your guide led me to 2 bears, 4 moose, 2 bull horn sheep, 2 bald eagles, and a ton of mountain goats. I am so glad that I had the guide to point me in the right direction as the options in GNP are overwhelming. Awesome!

Hi. Is there a way to buy a copy of the map that is NOT folded? I think it would look awesome on the wall in my office.
-
I am working on something like that. I agree, it would look AMAZING on your office wall! 😀
