Next up, Rocky Mountain National Park

Well I just came back from my first trip down to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. What a beautiful (and massive) place! After hiking for two weeks straight, I know that I’m only scratching the surface.

I’m not just arbitrarily down there, however, I’m starting work on my seventh day hike map guide. I’ve planned for four trips that average about two weeks in length and have just wrapped up my first one. Colorado’s winter was heavy on snowpack and is slow to melt out. That restricted some hiking for the first trip, but things should be opening up for the rest.

Looking at Longs Peak and friends from Twin Sisters Peaks

Video blogs will be few, if any at all while I’m in hiking mode, but follow me on social media (Facebook and Instagram primarily) where you can see some of where I’m hiking as well as on my Tracking page to see where I’m at on any given day.

In the meantime, I hope everyone is finding new trails and getting some rarified mountain air. I know I will be. 😀

What is your next park that you are planning to do? We have all your maps, it makes vacation hiking so much easier and less stressful, I can’t thank you enough. Hoping you consider doing North Cascades or perhaps one of the others in Utah. Always enjoy your work and look forward to rediscovering the next park you do.
